This is where it began.
Where we come from and where this was all born. Initially opened in 2013 as 8-Bit Tattoo Studio, rebranded in 2016 to Ursa Major Tattoo Studio, and finally as Samma Charles Art in 2020. Taking a brief pause between 2022 and 2025 to open a new studio in the US, we came back.
Boston, MA – The beginning of our international expanse
Our entrance to the US begins with Boston in 2022, and has proven an invaluable cog in Samma's international machine with a solid team of artists and piercers in a beautiful studio.
